What changes a builders clean quote

Builders Clean quotes each property. A one-bedroom flat with light dust and a three-storey house of fresh plaster are not the same job, so this page explains the factors instead of printing a price list.

Size and floors

Rooms, stairs and how far dust has travelled. A loft that was sanded with the doors open is a whole-house film, not a one-room wipe.

Kitchens and bathrooms

Empty new units, glass screens and channels take longer than a single worktop. Tell us how many.

Type of dust

Plaster and sanding dust need vacuuming before a wipe. Ordinary grit is quicker. Wet plaster is not cleaned.

Paint, tape and glue

A few spots sit inside a normal clean. Tape on every frame is extra time and is quoted as its own line.

Floors

Bare floors before carpet, sealed timber that must stay almost dry, or a carpet fitted too early. The method changes the time.

A second visit

A sparkle after snagging is a separate, smaller quote. It is cheaper than pretending the first clean will survive another week of drills.

Commercial plates

Offices and shops are quoted on area, WCs, glass and whether the visit is out of hours.

Access

A flat with a short loading bay, a hill terrace, or a village lane. Access changes the morning. It does not change what “clean” means.

Tell us about the property

Tell us the property, what the trades have finished, and when you need it. We reply by email or WhatsApp.

What to include

Postcode, house or flat, how many bathrooms, whether the plaster is dry, and the date the last dusty trade finishes. Photos help. We reply with a quote, not a request to call a number.
