The usual brief is a new home that technically complete but still has blue film on appliances, dust in the airing cupboard and footprints on the landing. Buyers also ask when the developer clean was a quick sweep. We do not pretend to be the snagging surveyor.

Book as close to the key date as you can, after the last messy snag. Leave film on appliances until the clean if it is protecting them. After handover, a sparkle is only needed if trades come back in with sanders.
How long it should last
A handover clean is judged on the day of the visit. It is not a warranty against later snagging. If painters return, the glass and floors will need attention again. Defects in the build remain defects.

Can you clean several plots?
Yes, if each plot is listed. A row of flats is quoted per plot or as a schedule, not as one vague “site”.
What if the developer already cleaned?
We still see film, cupboard dust and missed glass. Say that a first clean happened so we quote a handover or sparkle rather than a heavy site clear.
