What people notice first
The usual problem is glass that was wiped with a dusty cloth and now smears. Paint flicks and tape adhesive are the next. If a sealed unit is misty between the panes, that is a failed unit, not dirt, and cleaning will not fix it.

Before we arrive, and the day after
Unlock windows you want opened. Tell us about coated glass. After the clean, do not let anyone sand in that room. External glass at height is only included when access is safe and written into the quote.
How long it should last
Internal glass stays clear once dust-making work stops. A room that is still being sanded will film the glass again within a day. Scratches and failed units remain. They are not cleaned away.

Questions about this visit
Do you clean outside windows as well?
Internal glass is the normal builders-clean scope. Outside faces are included only where we can reach them safely from the ground or an agreed platform. We do not invent ladder access.
Can you remove paint from glass?
Small spots and tape lines, yes, after a test. Widespread paint over many panes is quoted as part of paint and adhesive removal so the time is clear before we start.
What if the glass is scratched?
We will not claim a clean removes scratches or cement burns that have etched the pane. We point them out rather than scrub them worse.
Are window frames included?
Yes. Frames, sills and tracks are where builders dust hides. Glass-only, with a dirty track, still looks unfinished.
How do I ask for a glass-only visit?
Say “glass only” on the quote form and roughly how many rooms. If the rest of the house is still white with dust, we will recommend a fuller builders clean first.
