What people notice first
People ask when a new shower screen is cloudy, when white dust sits on a black tray, or when the bathroom was used as a wash station during the build. Failed silicone that has opened up is a reseal, not a clean. We will say so.
Prep and after
Before we arrive, and the day after
Keep the room free of tools. Do not use the shower immediately before we arrive if the floor is still swimming. After the clean, let chrome dry. Leave new silicone for the cure time the fitter gave you before you lean on it.
How long it should last
Glass should stay clear if dusty work next door has finished. A screen clouds again when plaster dust is still being made in the house. Grout haze from the install should come off in the visit. Haze that is actually poor grouting will not polish into new grout.

Questions about this visit
Do you remove grout haze after tiling?
Light cement residue on tiles is part of a bathroom clean when it has not been left to harden for months. We test a patch. We do not re-grout or claim a clean can fix missing grout.
Can you clean a new shower screen?
Yes. Glass and the bottom channel are standard. Deep scratches in the glass stay. Say if the screen was used to mix plaster.
Will cleaning damage new silicone?
We do not scrub a bead that is still curing. Tell us when it was applied. Cured smears on the tray are a different task from the neat bead, and we keep them separate.
Is limescale part of a builders clean?
New suites should not have heavy limescale. Light marks from site water are included. A screen scaled from years of showers is an occupied-home clean, not this visit.
How many bathrooms can you do in one visit?
As many as the quote allows time for. A house with three new bathrooms is priced on that, not as a single “bathroom” line.
